Environ 60 voyagistes et guides en Ouganda ont r\u00e9cemment \u00e9t\u00e9 sensibilis\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019initiative d\u2019engagement Gorilla FriendlyTM et \u00e0 la campagne en ligne en cours. Le Programme international de conservation des gorilles et le Wildlife Enterprise Network, en collaboration avec l\u2019Association des voyagistes ougandais, ont organis\u00e9 une r\u00e9union de deux jours pour les voyagistes et les guides \u00e0 Kampala. La r\u00e9union s\u2019est concentr\u00e9e sur les meilleures pratiques touristiques et le Gorilla FriendlyTM Pledge dans le but de faire conna\u00eetre l\u2019initiative et de solliciter leur soutien pour promouvoir cette importante campagne.<\/p>\n\n

En tant que peuple qui interagit souvent avec les touristes, s\u2019ils sont bien sensibilis\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019initiative d\u2019engagement et \u00e0 la campagne en cours, les voyagistes et les guides ont le potentiel de populariser la campagne, de sensibiliser davantage aux r\u00e8gles et r\u00e8glements \u00e9tablis en mati\u00e8re de visite des gorilles et de s\u2019y conformer. Ces actions conduiront par cons\u00e9quent \u00e0 une augmentation du nombre de personnes prenant l\u2019engagement et contribueront \u00e0 la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et \u00e0 la protection globales des gorilles de montagne.<\/p>\n\n

Au cours de la r\u00e9union, l\u2019initiative Gorilla FriendlyTM Pledge a \u00e9t\u00e9 officiellement lanc\u00e9e en Ouganda par M. Stephen Masaba, directeur adjoint du tourisme et des affaires et Mme Dorcus Twesigomwe, responsable du d\u00e9veloppement commercial \u00e0 l\u2019Uganda Wildlife Authority.<\/p>\n\n

Lors de la r\u00e9union, les participants ont \u00e9galement pris l\u2019engagement et se sont engag\u00e9s \u00e0 populariser le site Web et la campagne en cours aupr\u00e8s de leurs clients. Des documents Gorilla Friendly, y compris des affiches et des cartes de visite, ont \u00e9t\u00e9 distribu\u00e9s aux participants pour \u00eatre utilis\u00e9s dans leurs diff\u00e9rents bureaux et zones d\u2019op\u00e9ration.<\/p>\n\n

Les partenaires du PICG tels que Fauna and Flora International, Conservation through Public Health, Gorilla Doctors et Uganda Wildlife Authority ont \u00e9galement particip\u00e9 \u00e0 la r\u00e9union de deux jours.<\/p>\n\n

Le Programme international pour la conservation des gorilles (PICG) comprend actuellement Conservation International, Fauna & Flora International et le Fonds mondial pour la nature. Nous reconnaissons que la survie de la terre d\u00e9pend de la capacit\u00e9 de l\u2019humanit\u00e9 \u00e0 maintenir un environnement sain et \u00e9quilibr\u00e9 qui inclut toutes les esp\u00e8ces sauvages.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n
